A 28-year-old man has become the third person to be charged in connection with a shooting in Park Royal that took place last year.

Alexander Quartey of Brent, appeared in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court after being charged in the early hours of Friday, 11 February with conspiracy to murder and possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

Police including firearms officers were called to Standard Road on 6 November 2021.

A 28-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and a stab wound to the back. He was taken to hospital and his injuries have since been deemed non-life-threatening

Another man, aged 31, also sustained a gunshot wound to his hand and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Two brothers Jahni Thomas, aged 27 and Jahmarley Thomas aged 23 were charged last November with two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

They are both due to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday, 18 February.
