Police investigating the stabbing of a man in Acton that took place in the early hours of Saturday morning (7 August) believe video footage may exist of the incident.

The 24-year-old man was found at 2.43am with stab injuries on Concord Road which is part of an industrial estate just south of the A40 Western Avenue.

He was taken to a west London hospital where his condition was found to be not life-threatening and he has since been discharged

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He has been released under investigation.

Detective Constable Catherine Sallabank, from the local policing team for west London, said, “We believe there were a number of people who were in the area when this incident took place that may have witnessed something or have video footage.

“I urge anyone who has information to come forward and support us with this investigation. It is vital that we speak to you."
