Victim fights for his life after being hit with metal pole

Two men from Acton, believed to be brothers, have been charged with grievous bodily harm after a man was seriously injured in Vauxhall earlier this month.
23-year-old Alkomber Kojtasi, and 22-year-old Arlinddo Kojtasi of Winchester Street were among six people charged following an assault which took place at 4:15am on Sunday, 1 October on the Albert Embankment close to the headquarters of MI6.
The 24-year-old victim was hit with a metal pole and remains in hospital in a critical condition.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The charges follow what the police describe as an intensive investigation by detectives from the Central South Command Unit.
All six are due to appear at the Inner London Crown Court in early November.
The others charged are Lewis Hysa, aged 21, of New York House, Stadium Way, Wembley, Joni Spahiu, aged 21, of Oakley House, 10 Electric Boulevard, Battersea, Mickyas Oumer, aged 22, of Bath Court, Bath Street, EC1 and Djabrail Haptakaev, aged 20. of Perham Road, London, W14.
