Detectives have issued a photo of a man they wish to speak to following a sexual assault that took place in Acton.

At around 11am on Sunday 13 August, a woman was travelling on an SL8 bus, the newly rebranded express Superloop service.

As the bus approached Acton Town Hall, a man sat next to her and touched her leg. When she tried to move away, he moved closer continuing the assault.

Initial enquiries by the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command have so far failed to identify a suspect so they are now requesting the public’s assistance in the case.

Anyone who can help identify the man pictured is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5251/02Oct.

To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
