Man Suspected of Sexual Assaults Last Seen in Park Royal | ||||
Wanted in connection with string of attacks including three on 266 bus
Police have reissued an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a number of sexual assaults on buses including one in Park Royal. The most recent incident occurred on 21 September at around 5pm. The victim, a 31-year-old woman, was approached by a man as she sat on the 226 bus who sat next to her and touched her before he was challenged by the woman. He then got up and left the bus at Park Royal station. An This was the third of three incidents on the 226 bus that police believe are related. On 17 July, a 21-year-old woman boarded the bus at around 9.00am. The suspect came and sat next to her and began touching her leg. The victim got off the bus in Acton Lane, NW10 and called police. The next incident happened at approximately 3.10pm on 8 August. A 27-year-old woman was sitting on the bus when the suspect came and sat next to her. He began touching himself before the victim got up and left the bus in High Street, NW10. There have also been similar incidents reported in the Kings Cross area and in Haringey and Enfield. An initial appeal was made by the police in September. Detectives from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command (RTPC) released a CCTV image of the man they would like to speak to. They are now renewing their appeal after receiving information on his whereabouts. He is now believed to have fled to Dublin, Ireland. The man is described as of Middle Eastern appearance, 30-35-years-old, 5ft 7ins and of slim build.
