Roads closed and homes left without supply while Thames Water work to repair pipe
Water pressure in Chiswick was severely affected by a burst water in Brentford on 8th September with some premises left without a water supply altogether. The pipe burst in the Commerce Road area early Wednesday and flooded Brentford High Street. Water supplies to W & TW areas were disrupted for several hours while Thames Water fixed the problem. The supply in W3, W4 & W12 was back on a little after midday whilst premises in TW1, TW7 and TW8 had to wait until later in the afternoon. Thames Water apologised for the inconvenience.
