House on East Churchfield Road becomes Acton's most expensive

The record price for a home sale in Acton has been broken by the sale of a house in East Churchfield Road for £2,350,000. This has beaten the previous high held by a house in Perryn Road.
The average price of a home sold in the W3 post code area during November was £494,195 according to the latest figures from the Land Registry.
There were 72 transactions during the month, five of which were for over £1,000,000.
The November data from Land Registry's House Price Index shows an annual price increase of 3.2% which takes the average property value in England and Wales to £165,411. Currently all regions except the north east are seeing price rises.
London continued to see the highest prices rises with the average up by 10.6% over the year to £396,646. Over the course of the month the average level in the capital rose by 1.8%
Repossession volumes decreased by 23 per cent in September 2013 to 1,036 compared to 1,337 in September 2012.
The most up-to-date figures available show that during September 2013 the number of completed house sales in England & Wales increased by 24 per cent to 65,378 compared with 52,870 in September 2012. The number of properties sold in England and Wales for over £1 million in September 2013 increased by 60 per cent to 1,020 from 639 in September 2012.
