His action led to the closure of the Uxbridge Road and resulted in his arrest for a breach of the peace and possession of a small amount of cannabis.

The George and Dragon had been a popular live music venue for over 50 years and is one of Acton's oldest pubs. Complaints about noise started to grow after the completion of new flats at Coopers Court. Since May 2003 Mr. Moody has been prosecuted twice and fined for noise violations. Ealing Council effectively closed the venue to live music by insisting that £300,000 worth of sound proofing.

Mr Moody says that 25 people have lost their jobs due to the closure. He said that he had invested over £100,000 on sound proofing to no avail. He has contacted the police to ask permission for another protest about the closure.
