Local's Death: Man Charged

Aloysius Bertin, 43, a mechanic from Acton, was found outside Scenarios nightclub, New Cross Road, New Cross, at 8.40am on March 28. He died in King's College Hospital.

A Streatham man has been charged with the murder of a mechanic who died from a stab wound to his chest. Herman Blake was remanded in custody until Friday when he will appear at the Old Bailey.

Blake, 49, a self-employed juice bar manager, appeared at Sutton Magistrates' Court on Saturday charged with the murder of Aloysius Bertin.
