Second Hand Market on Sunday August 10th
The first of two second-hand markets will be held on Sunday 10th August from 9am until 1pm
so get there early to bag a bargain! Don’t worry, our regular traders will still be on hand with jewellery, arts, crafts, clothing, hot and cold food to keep you going. If you’re thinking of selling at the Second Hand Market, please be aware that stalls must be booked ahead of time. Food Festival Plans in Full Swing
With the date for the Acton Food Festival, drawing near, the Market Team is busy planning who will be there and what you’ll be able to eat. To be held Friday 5 th, Saturday 6 th and Sunday 7 th September from 12-7pm, we’ve got live music and entertainment on all three days. We’ll have everything from Vietnamese noodles and Indian samosas to good old English pies. Tables will be set up for you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, meet your neighbours, friends and the whole Acton community.

The Pitch

Yummy Yummy Yummy…that’s what you’ll be saying after visiting the Yummy Cake stall at Acton Market. Trader Aishling Marlborough’s selection of homemade cakes, biscuits and savoury treats are a perfect way to relax and enjoy your Market shopping. Aishling has a table where you can sit, have coffee, relax and enjoy her allnatural cakes. Aishling decided to start Yummy Cake when she realised that her love of cakes could become a real business. She contacted Action Acton and registered for the Market Traders Training Programme. She has two pitches – her main one at Acton Market on Fridays and Sundays and alternating Saturday mornings and another at the London Farmers’ Markets West Ealing location on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month. Aishling’s cakes are also made to order for special events. She can be contacted via email yummycake@gmail.com.

Give and Take Day - bring good quality, used goods to the Market so others can take them away. Absolutely NO electrical items, clothing or knives. Please DO NOT bring your items before 12:30. The organisers have the right to refuse items.
