Intruder entered her house through open bedroom window

A woman was sexually assaulted in her bedroom on Birkbeck Road in Acton last weekend by a man who had got in through an open window.

On Sunday, 17 May at approximately 3am, the woman was asleep in bed when she was woken up by someone touching her.

She called out and a man ran out of her bedroom and out of the front door, leaving the door open. It is thought that the man entered the house through an open bedroom window.

He is described as black, approximately 30 years old with a strong athletic build. He was smartly dressed in jeans and a cardigan.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time who noticed any unusual activity or anyone acting suspiciously.
