Fast food outlet on the Vale given just one star by inspectors

The O! Burger restaurant on the Vale in Acton has received a one star rating from inspectors from the London Borough of Ealing.

This rating categorises them as 'major improvement necessary' and although the inspectors found their structural compliance 'fair' they rated the fast food establishment as 'poor' for food hygiene and safety and concluded they had little confidence in management.

Ealing Borough was recently highlighted as having one of the lowest average star rating for restaurants. Some local restaurateurs claim this is because the local inspectors rate more harshly than those in other boroughs.

Other restaurants specialising in burgers have recently received a poor hygiene score because inspectors have insisted on particularly exacting standards for cooking this kind of food.

We have tried to contact O! Burger for comment and have yet to receive a response.
