Bringing great produce to the lovely people of Acton, we are Basil and Tom’s:
your box fresh, new, community greengrocer.
We’re owned and run by the Mahadeo family, long-term Acton residents who eat
at the Station House, drink at Vindinista and shop at The Village Trading Store.
We know Acton, and with 20 years’ experience in the catering trade, you can be
sure we know our onions.
We live local, love local and wherever possible, grow local.
Our aim is to offer high-quality and tasty produce, lovingly sourced from our
trusted suppliers and the farms and markets of the South-East. We will prioritise
bringing you seasonal produce and we won’t serve any of it in plastic. Riper,
fresher, healthier, it all adds up to a better deal for our farmers, the environment
and our bodies. All you need to do is bring a bag.
Basil & Tom’s is all about good old-fashioned service with some 21st century
trimmings. Come in for personalised veg boxes, recipe suggestions, healthy
snacks for little ones, tempting supplies for your store cupboard and daily bread
from an artisan bakery.
From basics to luxuries, traditional to exotic, Basil and Tom’s is committed to
bringing you quality products on your doorstep, at an affordable price.
Acton’s new greengrocer opened on Saturday October 6th, next door to the
English Butcher on Churchfield Road, W3.
