ARTification have more activities coming up this month in North Acton for half-term and Black History Month. A special Black History Month Plant + Art Market is being held in the North Acton Pavilion celebrating local black history with music from Tippa Audio, food, art stalls, plants and a workshop from WAPPY. It is taking place on Saturday 23 October from 11am to 2pm. On Wednesday 27 October from 11am – 1pm, Majeda Khouri will be leading a family cook-along, where participants old and young can make vegetarian food using local ingredients. The sessions are open to children 6+ and free for families whose children are on FSM. Click here for more information. ARTification wants to connect people and places through art. It aims to make this happen by responding to local needs and developing its arts and cultural venues, with initiatives that bring communities together to encourage positive change.
