Police Claim Success From Acton Stop and Searches

Large quantity of cannabis seized after operation in the area

Local Safer Neighbourhood teams in the Acton area have conducted a series of stop and searches and vehicle stops in the area which they say have yielded a large quantity of cannabis.

Officers from the East Acton, Southfield and South Acton teams were targeting what they say is an area of public concern.

As a result of the operation one male was given community resolution, one given £90 pound penalty notice for disorder, one given official caution and one male was arrested for possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
