Arrest made after car parked on Valetta Road found littered with beer cans

The local police team made an unusual arrest recently when out on patrol in East Acton.

PC Simon Cole and PC Luke Greenman were called to Valetta Road on Monday 25 September to investigate a car parked on the road.

When they looked inside they saw a woman slouched down on the passenger side eating what they say later turned out to be raw bacon.

When they asked the driver to open the door they couldn’t help but notice that the footwell of the car was covered in empty lager cans and the smell of alcohol from the vehicle was overpowering.

They checked out the driver’s details on the police computer and discovered that he had no Insurance or MOT.

He was consequently arrested for being drunk in charge and for driving a vehicle with no MOT or insurance.
