Man in hospital after being shot in the leg on Standard Road

A man in his thirties has been taken to hospital suffering from gunshot wounds after an incident in Park Royal.

Police were called to Standard Road on Boxing Day at around 5.45am.

The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening according to the police.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Trident unit are investigating.

A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish what type of weapon was used.

“There has been no arrest at this stage.”
