12-year-old seriously injured after being hit by motorbike on Popes Lane
The family of a boy who was the subject of an earlier police appeal has been traced. He had been seriously injured after being hit by a motorbike in South Ealing this Saturday afternoon (18 March). Police described identifying the boy as of ‘paramount importance’. The 12-year-old boy was alone at the time of the incident was taken to hospital with a head and leg injuries following a collision with a motorcyclist on Popes Lane near the junction with Knights Avenue at some time shortly before 12.19pm. He remains in a stable condition and is now able to speak with hospital staff. At this early stage it is believed that the boy got off a Route E3 bus and moments later the collision occurred. The motorcyclist stopped at the scene and was not arrested.
