Driver of car fights for his life after crash in Essex
Two men in their twenties from Acton have been killed in a car crash in Essex on Saturday (12 November). Farhad-Zubair Maqbool and Yahya Sharif, both 25-years-old were travelling on the A12 northbound carriageway at Ingatestone shortly before 11.20pm. Farhad-Zubair Maqbool Yahya Sharif Their BMW is believed to have veered off the road and into a tree. The two deceased were passengers and were both pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, who is also in a man in his twenties from Maida Vale, is reported to be in a critical condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. Yahya was studying for a BsC in civil engineering at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford. Police are appealing for anyone witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the BMW before the incident to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk.
