Join the South Acton Residents Action Group
The South Acton Residents Action Group (SARAG) are leading a walk through Chiswick and Acton this weekend as part of the Open House London 2016 festival. The walk starts at the RIBA Award-winning Chiswick Business Park (Richard Rogers Partnership 2000) at noon on Saturday 17 September and 2.30pm on Sunday 18 September. Meet outside Building 3 for what is described as ' Ruskinian Walk Through Shared Heritage' which lasts for around two hours. Other focal features are the polyglot resident-governed South Acton Estate - the birthplace of artist Patrick Caulfield - with its Children's Centre (Llowarch-Llowarch 2006) and resilient Willett’s Wall; mixed architectural styles - 19th, 20th, 21st Centuries; crossing the 'Stamford Brook' to view Woodlands Park Ice House; spotting the homes of William Willett - builder and originator of Daylight Sav-ing Time - and Richard White, co-founder of the Law Society 15 September 2016
