Students will be joining national Children in Need tapathon event

Dancers in Acton will be taking part in a national challenge and hoping this year they can beat the world record.

On Sunday 18 November Acton Ballet School  based at Ruskin Hall on Church Road, will be involved in Tapathon 2018, an event that brings together groups of tap dancers in various venues throughout the UK to try and get the highest number of tap dancers performing the same routine at the same time. 

Last year the event was only 78 dancers short and it's hoped that this year will be the one that breaks the record!  All proceeds will go to Children in Need.

The Acton event will take place at the Wasps Great Hall at Twyford Avenue Sports Ground from midday to 2pm.

 Acton Ballet School was established over 10 years ago and holds Ballet, Tap and other dancing classes for students from the age of 2.1/2 years to adult!
