Disappearance of man last seen in Acton may be linked to drug dealing
Detectives investigating the disappearance of a father-to-be who was last seen more than a month ago in Acton have announced a £20,000 reward. Police have been searching for 27-year-old Mohammed Shah Subhani, also known as Shah Khan who was reported missing on Tuesday 7th May. His white Audi Q3 remains unfound as well. “Information suggests that Mohammed was in debt and attended the police station in the hope that he was to collect £4,800 from a matter that was not proceeded with. The money was not available – as it had been banked.", said Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command. He continued “He then went to an industrial premises on Derby Road, Hounslow where he met an associate who owned him £5,000. We believe that this money was paid. “Mohammed should have been in possession of at least £9,800, if someone knew this it could be significant. “I believe that Mohammed has got out of his depth in some kind of criminal activity". Inquiries that after Mohammed lost his job as a courier, he may have started to deal cannabis. Police officers would like to hear from anyone who had anything to do with this aspect of his life, particularly on 7 May when he was last seen. White Audi Q3, captured on CCTV travelling south on Hanworth Road, towards Whitton Road, in Hounslow at around 15:17hrs on 7 May some ten minutes after being on the A4 at Transport Avenue, Brentford. Mohammed was reported missing to police by his family shortly before midnight on Tuesday, 7 May. They stated he had last been by them seen leaving his home address in Heston at around 12.15pm that same day. He was described as wearing navy blue, Puma tracksuit bottoms, a navy blue short sleeved t-shirt and light grey Nike Air Max trainers. The £20,000 Met reward is being offered for both information leading to the whereabouts of Mohammed, and also information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of anyone connected with his disappearance.
