Teenager didn't show up for last day of school on Friday

Police in Ealing are appealing for assistance in tracing a missing Ellen Wilkinson school girl.

Thandeka Munemo, 13 (17/10/97) was last seen at home in Perivale on Friday morning, 22 July before she was due to go to school. She never attended school that day.

It is out of character for Thandeka to miss school and not to tell her parents where she is going or keep them informed about where she is. She has not gone missing before and officers are concerned for her safety and welfare.

Thandeka is black and described as approx. 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slim build and black shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing her school uniform consisting of; white shirt, blue jumper with the Ellen Wilkinson school logo written on it, a blue skirt, black tights and back shoes.

Thandeka is known to frequent the Perivale, Ealing Broadway and Westfield shopping centre.

Anyone who has seen Thandeka or anyone who knows of her whereabouts should call police on 101 or the Missing People charity on 0500 700 700.
