Dangerous Acton Footbridge Finally Gets Lights

Church Path now a little safer with the new illumination

A previously dangerous, unlit, footbridge over the London Overground line at South Acton, linking W3 and W4 has finally been illuminated.

Mike Abbott has sent photos of the new lights at Church Path which will cause huge relief to many residents and commuters who said the bridge was a major safety concern.

The bridge links South Acton park with Kingswood Terrace.
