Thanksgiving events planned over the next few months

The Acton Children's charity Descendants was established 25 years ago this year 2018. 
A number of events will be taking place to mark this milestone.

1. Saturday 13th October -
Thanksgiving service at Our Lady of Lourdes church, Acton High street, Acton W3. Service at 7p.m, followed by refreshment in the church hall where Descendants first session was held in 1993.
Richard Kornicki CBE DL Representative Deputy Lieutenant to the London Borough of Ealing, will be attending this event, also Leader of the Council Julian Bell.  It's hoped many past children, young people, parents and volunteers and Community will attend. 
This is an open invitation.  Free to attend, followed by refreshment.



2) Saturday 27th October 2018, from 6p.m
14th Descendants' Dr John Roberts CBE QC, Achievement Awards 2018, and 25th anniversary at Double Tree by Hilton, Ealing common
We have invited Richard Kornicki CBE DL Representative Deputy Lieutenant to the London Borough of Ealing, who will be attending in full uniform, along with  many other special guests.  . 

3)Friday 7th December 2018,  Windrush70 tea party an intergenerational event, to be held on at The University Of West London St  Mary Road, Ealing W.5.
