Being held in the Rothschild Rooms at Gunnersbury Park Museum

Acton Charity Descendants are holding an exhibition of a fashion show in The Rothschild Rooms at the Gunnersbury Park museum from 15 February to 27 February. Note: these dates are revised from those originally advertised.

It will be open to the public 10am - 4pm every day.

Since July 1993, Descendants have been supporting, entertaining and helping to develop children and young people of African and Caribbean descent in West London.

The idea of establishing the group came from overwhelming parental response following a performance by young people performing together at St. Vincent’s RC School in Acton. The evening made such an impact, and created such positive feedback, that the founder members of (Margaret Noel, Collette Noel, Chantal Noel, Celestina Uzoka, Lorraine Neckles, Helen Manufor and Kisha Noel) held a meeting to look into the development of a sustainable cultural group.
