Arch bouldering centre raising money for Comic Relief
A climbing centre in Acton is helping raise money for charity every month. The former Art Deco cinema on the Uxbridge Road has opened as Arch Bouldering Wall activity centre. Ropes are not required with bouldering as the walls are a max of 4.5m high and above thick safety maps. Every last Friday of the month Arch hold an event called The Arch Monthly Round-Up (TAMRU) to support local charities. So far this year, money has been raised for Acton Homeless Concern and Cultivate London. This Friday it will be for Comic Relief. 50p is donated to charity for every time a customer completes a climb (during the event) on the Stage Wall at Acton. There'll be a raffle
and a dedicated DJ for the night. The next charity event is taking place Friday 29th March.
